Story — English
Fir’awn’s chief minister and close ally in oppression. Fir’awn commanded him to build a tower so high they could ‘reach Moses’s God’ — a mockery of divine transcendence. He was the architect of a system of oppression. He and Fir’awn and Qarun are cited together as a trio of those who were destroyed (29:39). His role represents those who enable and implement tyrants — not the tyrant themselves, but their architects of oppression.

فرعون کا وزیر جس نے ظلم کا نظام بنایا۔ فرعون کے حکم پر اونچا مینار بنانے لگا تاکہ ‘موسیٰ کے رب تک پہنچیں’۔ فرعون اور قارون کے ساتھ ہلاک ہوا (29:39)۔
