Mentioned in 2:102 in the context of correcting the falsehood that Sulayman practiced magic. The two angels were in Babylon and taught people magic — but not without first warning them: ‘We are only a trial, so do not disbelieve.’ What they taught separated husband from wife. They could harm no one except by Allah’s permission. Those who chose to learn from them chose harm over benefit. This ayah establishes: magic is real, it is disbelief, and it was not connected to Sulayman.

بابل میں دو فرشتے جو جادو سکھاتے تھے لیکن پہلے بتاتے: ‘ہم آزمائش ہیں، کفر نہ کرو’۔ جادو میاں بیوی میں جدائی ڈالتا — اللہ کی اجازت کے بغیر نقصان نہیں۔ سلیمان بری ہیں (2:102)۔
