Story — English
The people of Yunus (Nineveh). When Yunus left them, punishment signs appeared. Unlike the people of Nuh, Aad, and Thamud who saw punishment arrive and could not repent — these people repented before it actually struck, when they saw its approach. Their faith was accepted. 100,000+ people believed (37:147). The Quran specifically notes this as unique: the only community whose belief was accepted in such circumstances (10:98).
