Story — English
Wife of Ibrahim and mother of Ishaq. When the angels visited with glad tidings that she would bear a son despite being old and barren, she laughed and said ‘Woe to me! Shall I bear a child when I am an old woman and this, my husband, is an old man?’ The angels confirmed it was the decree of Allah. A brief moment of doubt quickly corrected — she became the mother of Ishaq, grandfather of the Tribes of Israel.

ابراہیم کی بیوی اور اسحاق کی ماں۔ فرشتوں نے بیٹے کی خوشخبری دی تو بوڑھی ہونے پر تعجب سے ہنس پڑیں۔ فرشتوں نے کہا یہ اللہ کا حکم ہے — مان گئیں۔ اسحاق کی ماں بنیں۔
