Story — English
Wife of Fir’awn who is the counterpart to the wives of Nuh and Lut — while those two were married to prophets yet deviated, Asiya was married to the worst tyrant yet maintained faith. She was the one who found baby Musa in the basket and pleaded with Fir’awn to spare him. When Fir’awn discovered her faith, he tortured her. Her prayer recorded in the Quran (66:11): ‘My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Fir’awn and his deeds, and save me from the wrongdoing people.’ She died under torture, smiling — because at the moment of her death, Jannah was shown to her. The Prophet ﷺ named her as one of the four greatest women who ever lived.

فرعون کی بیوی جو مسلمان تھیں — نوح اور لوط کی بیویوں کے برعکس جو نبیوں کی بیویاں ہوتے ہوئے کافر رہیں۔ موسیٰ کو ٹوکری میں دیکھا، بچانے کی درخواست کی۔ ایمان ظاہر ہوا تو فرعون نے عذاب دیا۔ دعا (66:11): ‘اے میرے رب! اپنے پاس جنت میں گھر بنا’ — جنت دیکھتے ہوئے مسکرا کر وفات پائیں۔
