Story — English
Described as a servant of Allah ‘upon whom We had bestowed mercy from Ourselves and had taught him knowledge from Ourselves’ (18:65). Musa sought him out to learn. He agreed to accompany Musa on condition that Musa not question his actions. Three events followed: he scuttled a boat (to save it from a king who seized ships), killed a boy (whose parents were believers and who would have led them to disbelief), and rebuilt a wall in a town that refused them hospitality (to protect hidden treasure for two orphan boys). Each action appeared wrong on the surface; each had a divine mercy beneath. His story is the Quran’s deepest teaching on the nature of divine wisdom and the limits of human judgment.

اللہ کا خاص بندہ جسے خاص علم اور رحمت دی گئی (18:65)۔ موسیٰ نے سیکھنے کے لیے تلاش کیا۔ کشتی میں سوراخ کیا (ظالم بادشاہ سے بچانے)، لڑکے کو قتل کیا (مومن ماں باپ کو گمراہی سے بچانے)، دیوار بنائی (یتیموں کا خزانہ بچانے)۔ ہر عمل بظاہر غلط، باطناً رحمت۔
