Story — English
Son of Adam whose sacrifice was accepted by Allah while his brother Qabil’s was not. When Qabil threatened to kill him, Habil said: ‘If you raise your hand against me to kill me — I shall not raise my hand against you to kill you. Indeed I fear Allah, Lord of the worlds. Indeed I want you to take upon yourself my sin and your sin so you will be among the companions of the Fire.’ He was killed — the first death in human history. A raven showed Qabil how to bury him. His story establishes the sacredness of human life and the principle that killing one innocent soul is like killing all of humanity.

آدم کا بیٹا جس کی قربانی قبول ہوئی۔ قابیل نے قتل کی دھمکی دی تو کہا: ‘تو ہاتھ بڑھائے، میں نہ بڑھاؤں گا’۔ قتل ہوئے — انسانی تاریخ کا پہلا قتل۔ کوے نے دفن سکھایا۔
