Reason: Among the five greatest Messengers (Ulul Azm); praised for steadfast patience over 950 years of calling

Story — English

Called his people for 950 years (29:14). They rejected him, mocked him, and covered their ears. His own son and wife disbelieved. Allah commanded him to build the ark — he was mocked for it. The flood came and destroyed the disbelievers. His son refused to board, saying he would climb a mountain — Nuh interceded for him, but Allah told him his son was not of his family (by faith). A profound lesson: lineage does not guarantee salvation. Nuh is one of the five Ulul Azm prophets.

950 سال تک اپنی قوم کو دعوت دی۔ انہوں نے کانوں میں انگلیاں ڈال لیں۔ کشتی بنانے کا حکم ملا، مذاق اڑایا گیا۔ طوفان آیا۔ بیٹے نے سوار ہونے سے انکار کیا، پہاڑ پر چڑھنے کی کوشش کی۔ نوح نے بیٹے کے لیے سفارش کی لیکن اللہ نے کہا وہ آپ کے گھر والوں میں سے نہیں — نسب نجات نہیں دیتا، ایمان دیتا ہے۔
