Story — English

The most mentioned prophet in the Quran. Born in Egypt during Pharaoh’s decree to kill all male Israelite babies. His mother placed him in a basket in the Nile — found by Pharaoh’s household, raised in the palace. Grew up among Egyptians, killed a man accidentally while defending an Israelite, fled to Midian. Married Shuayb’s daughter. Received prophethood at the burning bush — ‘Take off your sandals; you are in the sacred valley.’ Commanded to go to Pharaoh. Performed miracles (staff-serpent, white hand). The showdown with Pharaoh’s magicians — the magicians believed. Nine plagues on Egypt. The Red Sea crossing — Pharaoh drowned. Received the Torah. His people worshipped the golden calf in his absence. Took his people on a forty-year wandering. Met Al-Khidr and learned about divine wisdom that transcends apparent justice. His story is the most comprehensive in the Quran — themes of justice, liberation, patience, faith, law, and the nature of divine wisdom.

قرآن میں سب سے زیادہ ذکر والے نبی۔ فرعون کے حکم سے قتل سے بچائے گئے، دریا میں ٹوکری میں رکھے گئے، فرعون کے گھر میں پلے۔ ایک مصری کو مارا، بھاگے۔ جلتی جھاڑی پر نبوت ملی۔ فرعون کی طرف بھیجے گئے، معجزات دکھائے، جادوگر ایمان لائے۔ بحر قلزم پار کیا، فرعون ڈوبا۔ توراۃ ملی۔ بچھڑے کی پوجا، چالیس سال سرگردانی۔ خضر سے ملاقات۔
